Our house builders in Brisbane
can change the house design to suit your needs. We agree on a price for the land and a price to build the house design selected. We prepare a land purchase contract (a standard REIQ contract) and a build contract (a standard HIA building contract). The purchaser settles on the land first and pays the deposit for the building contract. As soon as the land contract is unconditional we schedule the building process and we start building upon the deposit payment. Stamp duty is due on the land purchase amount and not on the build contract amount.
