At an early stage when considering building a new house the question will be is ‘What’s in and what’s extra?” The answer to this is the Standard Specifications which list what is included in the base house price.
As well as the basic house specifications there is the list of Inclusions that can be added to customize the house to suit the owners requirements.
Inclusions For Extended Family Houses
For Extended Family Houses we have worked out a special list of inclusions.
Colours for the house is the next consideration. We have colour schemes worked out for our investment houses as in this example of a Colour list.
HIA Building Contract
The Standard Specifications, Inclusions, and Colour Lists are attached to the building contract to define the house to be built. Affordable Housing Company is a member of the Housing Industry Association (HIA) and uses the HIA contract for building contracts. The HIA Peace of Mind building contract is a fixed price building contract for where the finishes and inclusions have been decided and firm price can be quoted for the contract. An example of the HIA Peace of Mind Building Contract is shown here.
One thing to consider is the Turnkey Package and a guide to what is included in a price to build a Turnkey house is shown here.
Affordable Housing Company has many designs on file. Most of these designs are on the website and a list of these designs is available for download here.
